In an emergency
inside & outside normal office hours, we trust this guide will assist you.
Once rates have been
discussed and agreed, our Office Staff or Peter Durham our Contracts Manager will be able
to arrange for one of our engineers to attend your property and
deal with the problem within 2 hours.
An emergency situation
is deemed to be in the event that you/the property is in danger of
harm and could not merit waiting until Property Repair
opens for normal business.

below are to be used in an EMERGENCY only.

try to turn off water supply (in tenement flats, waterstopcock
often located out in the main stairwell).
Burst Pipe: or any
other event that could be considered an emergency (i.e. either
you/fabric of the property is at risk)

WATER LEAKING
INTO YOUR PROPERTY?
In the event of a
serious leak from an adjoining property, you MUST make every
attempt to contact the householder.
Ensure problem is
dealt with promptly and water turned off at mains supply if
necessary.
If property is
vacant, or the householder refuses to co-operate, contact
Environmental and Consumer Services 0131 529 3030 Entry can be
forced by them and water supply turned off if deemed necessary.
Once water has been stopped, contact our office on 0131 4783391
and one of our surveyors will provide a report and estimate to
your insurer.
